The Toughest Choice: What vs. How
The ambitious construction of a crucial road up a treacherously steep hill had reached a standstill. The supervisor, burdened by the immense pressure of his deadlines,
“When nothing else is possible, keep trying.” That is what I strongly believe in. You never know what, when and how your life favors you. And there is no secret recipe that can transform your life to extraordinary success. Many great stories you ever heard are only has one side, it tells you about the success but not the unsuccessful attempts made to made just one attempt successful. No body is blessed enough to predict your future. All you need to explore the possibilities to reach one final big shot. Let’s explore together of what we all can do to make it possible.
Biologically we born just once but that is only physical form that we inherit from our parents. Our second life starts when we understand the real purpose of life. My journey is nothing ordinary than many a mediocre initial life, my struggle, security, responsibilities like others. But the only thing that transformed my life was realization of a purpose and need to make it possible at any cost. Many of us will be already dead who never understand the essence of it. They are afraid to purse their aim, ambition, dreams, transformation and its process. Success is not over night but takes countless sleepless nights to bring one fine morning which is really a “GOOD MORNING” to your life.
Every man is a sales person in real life. You don’t sell a product or service; you barter your personality. Very few clearly understands the difference, they blame people for not choosing them, being ignored and so on. But the underneath secret of ceasing an opportunity, closing the deal and the perspective development lies in your personality itself. Your approach and personality sells it not the attributes of any product and service. From getting hired to becoming a market mogul whatever you do make it impactful as they say “First impression is the last impression.” Yoga, Meditation, Exercise add them in your daily ritual and see the difference. I am also there to support you to create a healthy regime for lasting impression. Let’s give it a thought.
Life is very unfair to those who measure everything in numbers and are materialistic in nature. Few things in life cannot have a yardstick to measure but are always in vogue. A real sportsman seldom believes in achievements, rather giving his best shot every time. Bigger names in any industry know the secret of winning in life and stealing the show. Your materialistic success will not last long, but your moral values and empathy go a long way to create a benchmark for others. Sachin Tendulkar, Kapil Dev, Virat Kohli and so many others believe in creating a legacy whether or not they are in the game. Success and failure are part of the game, but the sportsmanship will remain a driving force of your life.
When most of the people are confused about what to do, a leader asks how it has to be done. This is called “the vision”, which a real leader shares with his teammates. People may come and go, but the way they feel associated will remain forever. Ask the right question, “how to do it” rather than “what to do”. And that is what creates the difference. Every day thousands of ideas pop up in our minds; we envision many dreams and aspirations but seldom act. We choose the easiest path where someone else leads the way. Sometimes the easiest way leads to nowhere. Identify your potential and lead the way.
Ever imagined that you set off on a journey of uncharted territory without any road map? That is what happens with most of us when we are young and energetic enough. Your life can take you to the places where great opportunities and challenges are waiting ahead. You may miss some of the greatest pleasantries and fall prey to miseries. That is why we all need a guru, a mentor or a coach to illuminate our path and help us achieve what we are destined to. Arjuna needed Krishna, and Hanuman needed Jamvant to realize their credentials and find the righteous path. Do you have someone to call your mentor? Let’s explore together.
The secret of a successful professional lies in a person’s intent and reliability to deliver seamless results every time. People tend to remember only those who stand true to their commitment. This is the core of professionalism that fosters the bond with others and creates long-term association and success. Always focus on the greater picture of your life, create big goals and set a pattern that you always adhere to. This has always been in fashion and never gets old. When intent is good and so is the reliability, it brings astonishing results throughout the professional journey.
The success of a man is the outcome of his decisions and audacity to take on the risk to make his own way. My journey is nothing more extraordinary than yours. Hailed from a middle-class family in a suburb of U.P. Chose the easiest path of life as an EPBX executive in an organisation. But I soon realised that this is not what I am made for. I started my venture in 1991 from a PCO business with as much as Rs. 15,000 borrowed from my friends and family. Years of struggle and relentless effort finally paved my way until 1995, when I faced a downturn in business. In the year 2012, I ventured again into a new sector, a new beginning but with no capital, experience or backup plan. People bet on my failure, but I proved them wrong and turned the fortune to favour me again. Today I am a sportsperson, entrepreneur, coach and motivational speaker.
